Not everyone wants to take the time to build their own amp, some people are preset pluggers, and this software is certaintly not for them. That said, I find it wonderful, as I am not a preset plugger.
Really pleased with this, the transition from Alien Connections to Peavey doen't seem to have done any harm. Their Plexi is the best I've heard so far, much nicer that the Guitar Combos version I tried out and a little more dynamic than the Amplitube Plexi. The Classic 30 also sounds great, and being able to host a VST is a useful concept. Haven't got into all that 'amp building' business but might give it a go later. Massive thanks go to Peavey for such a lenient demo too - there doesn't appear to be any time restriction and the occasional noise is only slghtly disruptive, and would only be an issue if you wanted to use it for serious recording. A great job, extremely pleased with what I've heard so far. Might do some soundclips for y'all later. Damn that sounded pretty good, what equipment do you use to record? The sound on my clip is only a small bit of Revalvers potential im guessing!! There is so much you can do to the valves and what not to get any sound you want pritty much.
